WNDW vs Visibuild.
Visibuild is a Melbourne construction quality platform founded in 2021, backed by institutional investment and running across projects in Australia and internationally. It tracks inspections and milestones against a location tree, which is much closer to how WNDW works than a generic forms tool. Of everything in this market, Visibuild is the nearest to what WNDW does.
Where Visibuild is better.
Builder distribution
Visibuild lands with tier-one head contractors and pulls subcontractors in from above. If your builder already runs it, you'll be using it whether or not you chose it — and there's real value in being inside the system your client is looking at.
Breadth of quality management
Defects, inspections and quality workflow across a whole project, at a maturity that comes with scale.
Unlimited users on a fixed project price
No per-seat maths as your crew grows.
Track record and support
More customers, more projects, more people behind the product than WNDW has today. That's simply true and worth weighing.
Where WNDW is different.
What Visibuild tracks
A milestone — a yes-or-no event at a location. Level 12 glazing, complete.
What WNDW tracks
The opening. Countable and priced. 412 of 1,010 installed.
That difference produces three things Visibuild doesn't attempt:
Claims are produced, not supported
Visibuild's own positioning around claims is evidence-based: inspection records that back a claim and speed up its validation. Useful. But the claim itself is built elsewhere. WNDW generates the claim from opening state against the schedule of rates, with retention and variation handling.
You can measure cost per opening
412 of 1,010 openings installed is a number you can divide labour spend into. A completed milestone isn't.
Variations and timesheets live in the same record
Not a separate system reconciled monthly.
Coexistence, not replacement.
If a builder mandates Visibuild on your job, WNDW is not the second system that competes with it. WNDW holds the commercial record — openings, variations, claims, labour cost — and pushes opening-level evidence out to whatever QA platform the builder requires.
Visibuild helps you prove the work to the builder. WNDW helps you get paid for it. On a mandated job you may well want both.
Which one should you pick.
Pick Visibuild if
Quality management across the whole project is the problem, your builders already run it, and your claims process is working fine as it is.
Pick WNDW if
You're a specialist envelope or finishes subcontractor installing countable items, and the gap you feel every month is between what's been done on site and what's on the claim.
